HR Partner – Operations (Fixed‑Term)

About the role

Join Alfa Laval’s HR Service Center in Kraków for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment, providing operational HR support to employees and managers in Poland and, when needed, to smaller countries in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver day‑to‑day HR support, answer queries via phone or ServiceNow, and ensure high‑quality employee experience.
• Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, time & absence, benefits, pension, and separations using Workday and payroll vendor systems.
• Maintain accurate employee data, prepare contracts and certificates, and ensure compliance with Polish labour law.
• Produce HR reports, conduct data audits, and support vendor relationship management.
• Update the employee self‑service portal and internal knowledge base, and identify process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in HR operations or administration, with direct HR support experience in Poland.
• Strong knowledge of Polish employment and labour legislation.
• Fluent in Polish and English, both spoken and written.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
