Payroll Partner

About the role

Alfa Laval is expanding its regional HR Service Center in Krakow to streamline HR and payroll processes across Poland and Central Eastern Europe. As a Payroll Partner you will work closely with senior payroll staff, HR partners, payroll vendors and finance teams to ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Process the monthly payroll run in cooperation with HR colleagues, ensuring compliance with local regulations.
• Coordinate the flow of critical payroll information with the HR SSC team to guarantee correct data for each run.
• Handle employee queries related to payroll, time‑and‑attendance, ADP portal, holidays, sick leaves and payslips.
• Prepare and distribute standard and ad‑hoc HR/payroll reports.
• Support internal and external audit activities.
• Identify and propose improvement opportunities within the payroll function.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in payroll processing.
• Fluent spoken and written Polish and English.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.).
• Familiarity with Workday or ADP payroll systems.
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar HR case‑management tools.
