Flight Data Reporting Engineer

About the role

Join Swarmer’s flight team to collect, analyse and report flight data from autonomous drone missions. You will work directly in the field, ensuring flight logs and observations are accurately captured and fed back to improve our UAV systems.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in test flights, following SOP checklists for pre‑flight, in‑flight observation and post‑flight procedures.
• Synchronise and organise all flight logs, photos, videos and supplementary data.
• Identify deviations or abnormal system behaviour, investigate incidents and propose corrective actions.
• Detect and analyse UAV flight patterns, providing recommendations for system improvements.
• Support pilots during field operations and ensure accurate post‑flight reporting.

Required profile

• Meticulous, detail‑oriented and reliable approach in field conditions.
• Fast learner who adapts quickly to new tools and systems.
• Clear communicator focused on factual reporting.
• Strong data organisation and structuring abilities.
• Intermediate spoken and written English.

Required skills

• Experience with multi‑rotor drones or other UAV/UGV/USV platforms.
• Ability to analyse flight data and recognise abnormal patterns.
• Proficiency in handling flight logs, photos and video data.
