Director of SaaS Software Delivery

About the role

We’re hiring a Director of Product Delivery to ensure our SaaS product portfolio ships on time, to spec, and repeatably as we onboard new clients. You will bridge the gap between working prototypes and reliable, scalable solutions for multiple customers.

Key responsibilities

• Cross‑functional orchestration: coordinate Data Science, Engineering, and Design into a single workflow per solution and client.
• Delivery rhythm and project management: run sprint planning, stand‑ups, milestone tracking, and go‑live dates across all active projects.
• Team leadership: manage workload, prioritisation, and performance of technical contributors without writing code yourself.
• Client onboarding and delivery execution: own the path from contract signed to live solution, handling configuration, integration sequencing, and handoff.
• Prioritisation within an existing roadmap: triage urgent integration blocks, bug fixes, and feature requests against limited capacity.
• Repeatable process creation: build and refine playbooks, intake templates, and delivery checklists for faster, lower‑risk onboarding.
• Risk and quality ownership: monitor timelines, data quality, and integration risks, escalating early to avoid client‑facing issues.
• Reporting and visibility: provide leadership with clear status updates on shipped, delayed, or blocked work.

Required profile

• Proven delivery/project management experience in a product or software context, preferably within a services or agency environment.
• Strong operational rhythm instincts with visible tracking of sprints, plans vs. delivery, and clear ownership.
• Comfort managing technical individual contributors without being the most technical person in the room.
• Client‑facing competence to translate needs into concrete delivery plans and manage expectations.
• Bias toward execution over strategy, thriving on turning defined solutions into on‑time releases.
