Finance Specialist, Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Specialist with a focus on Accounts Receivable for a permanent full‑time position in Warsaw. The role involves managing accounts receivable activities, supporting cash‑flow, and collaborating with business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Handle bank statement postings, allocate incoming payments, process customer refunds and perform reconciliations.
• Monitor and report open aging receivables to secure company cash‑flow.
• Support month‑end closing activities and perform timely reconciliations, including internal controls.
• Participate as a subject‑matter expert in ongoing projects within the area of responsibility.
• Collaborate closely with Sanoma Accounting Services and the local accounting team.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in accounting or accounts receivable.
• Professional proficiency in English and Polish.

Required skills

• Experience with SAP systems.
• Strong Excel skills.
