Development Team Leader – .NET

About the role

As a Development Team Leader you will guide a .NET development team, lead by example and drive engineering excellence. You will ensure delivery of high-quality, scalable software while fostering a collaborative and innovative culture. You will work closely with architects, product owners and other leaders to shape technical direction and align delivery with business goals.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of .NET developers, setting goals, quality standards and delivery timelines.
• Mentor and coach team members to support their technical and professional growth.
• Plan and manage team capacity, sprints and milestones to ensure predictable delivery.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners and other team leaders to align engineering execution with business objectives.
• Promote and enforce agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) within the team.
• Contribute to the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices and overall development processes.

Required profile

• 10+ years of commercial software development experience.
• 3+ years of leading Scrum teams and applying Agile practices.
• Strong expertise in .NET and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with microservices, distributed architecture, GraphQL, REST APIs, event buses and message queues.
• Solid understanding of Domain-Driven Design, client-server architecture and asynchronous programming.
• Proficiency in Test-Driven Development and unit, integration and acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with MS SQL Server, MongoDB, Docker and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent communication, leadership and analytical skills.
