Data/AI Engineer with Python (Remote Poland)

About the role

Luxoft is hiring a Data/AI engineer with Python for a remote position based in Poland. The project builds reusable platform capabilities and data products so that quantitative researchers can discover, access and consume data across a complex, disparate landscape, and move good prototypes to production. It sits in the Solution/Integration Architecture area, industry 21.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and enhance data pipelines and integration frameworks supporting AI, analytics and business applications.
• Improve data quality, reliability, lineage and monitoring.
• Implement an AI-first approach, using AI agents as a primary tool to design, build, test and support solutions.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, product managers and engineering teams to turn business objectives into technical solutions.

Required profile

• 10+ years of professional software development, including 5+ years of data engineering experience.
• Practical experience building and deploying AI/LLM-enabled applications in production.
• Experience in agile delivery environments and strong communication with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Nice to have: experience with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, AWS data services, AWS infrastructure (ECS Fargate, Lambda, SQS) and IaC (AWS CDK or Terraform); Fixed Income domain knowledge.

Required skills

• Advanced Python, including scalable backend services and data processing solutions.
• Data pipelines, data integration and large-scale data processing architectures.
• Relational databases and modern storage (graph, vector or analytical platforms).
• LangGraph, LangChain, agentic workflows or AI orchestration frameworks.
• Nice to have: AWS CDK or Terraform.
