Calypso BO Analyst (Remote Poland)

About the role

DXC Luxoft is looking for a Calypso Back Office (BO) Analyst to support an international bank, working remotely from Poland. The analyst maintains and develops Calypso BO modules in an existing production instance, handling day-to-day support, incident resolution, change requests and continuous improvement of BO processes and workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and support Calypso Back Office modules in a live production environment for an international banking client
• Analyse, design and implement changes and enhancements to BO workflows, including settlements, confirmations, accounting and reporting
• Investigate and resolve production incidents (trade lifecycle events, settlement failures, SWIFT messaging issues, reconciliation breaks)
• Gather and document business requirements from BO users and turn them into functional specifications for the development team
• Configure and customise BO workflows, including trade validation rules, netting rules, settlement instructions and accounting schemes
• Support BO integration with external systems such as SWIFT, payment platforms, general ledger, reconciliation tools and CCP/clearing systems
• Take part in Calypso upgrades and patch deployments, with regression testing and impact analysis
• Prepare and run test cases (functional, regression, UAT) using CATT, and maintain documentation such as runbooks and process flows
• Collaborate with Front Office and Middle Office teams and provide L2/L3 support during business hours, with on-call participation if required

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Calypso Back Office modules
• Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle for capital markets products (fixed income, interest rate derivatives, FX and/or credit derivatives)
• Experience in a production support environment with SLA-driven incident management
• Good communication skills in English (written and spoken)

Required skills

• Calypso BO configuration: settlement instructions, netting rules, payment workflows, accounting rules and posting schemes
• SWIFT messaging standards (MT103, MT202, MT300, MT320, MT540-MT548, MT900/MT910, MT950) and their mapping in Calypso
• Calypso workflow management (task stations, trade lifecycle events, BO status transitions)
• SQL for data investigation and reporting
• Nice to have: Calypso versions 16+ (ideally 18), CCP clearing workflows, EMIR/MiFID II reporting
