Associate Editorial Contracts & Payments Coordinator

About the role

The Associate Editorial Contracts & Payments Coordinator provides specialized support for assigned journal portfolios by overseeing contracts, administering payments and safeguarding payment details and personal data of societies, editors and contributors. This entry‑level role ensures contracts are in place, payments are processed accurately and financial agreements are managed in line with budgets and compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain editorial contracts, ensuring agreements are complete, accurate and in place.
• Process and monitor editorial payments with a strong focus on accuracy and timely follow‑up.
• Support financial agreements in line with budgets and compliance requirements.
• Work closely with publishers, editors, societies, publishing directors and operational colleagues.
• Manage multiple priorities, resolve issues proactively and provide a customer‑focused service.
• Collaborate with colleagues across Poland, the Netherlands, Chennai and the Philippines.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to automation, AI and data‑driven decision‑making.
