Associate Data Scientist

About the role

The Entity Content team collects, manages and supplies content for datasets across FCO, which is used across Refinitiv/LSEG products. As a Senior Associate Data Scientist, you will design and develop methods, quantitative models and analysis that improve existing or new processes, maintain product performance and analysis standards, and work with business, content and product groups to expand the scope of products. The role is based in the Gdynia office.

Key responsibilities

• Data handling, processing and programming
• Develop automated solutions for sourcing and loading Entity data into the database
• Analyze legal entity content to establish patterns and trends
• Develop, improve and run quantitative models
• Generate machine-learning solutions for core processes
• Work with business, content and product groups on large-scale analytics problems
• Build PoCs, visualizations and pipeline tools for product design and development
• Work with development groups on deployment of analytics solutions

Required profile

• Higher education in Statistics, Mathematics or Engineering in Computer Science, with a data science certification
• Able to handle large quantities of data
• Strong written, communication and presentation skills, able to explain data analysis and visualization to technical and non-technical audiences

Required skills

• Extensive experience with Python or R or equivalent
• Tools such as scikit-learn, numpy, pandas and Jupyter
• Solid relational database skills
• Understanding of statistics and statistical languages such as R

What we offer

• Anticipated annual gross base salary of 114,700 to 181,500 PLN, depending on location and experience
