Senior Inventory Accountant

About the role

You will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of Levi Strauss Europe’s inventory across distribution centres and direct‑to‑consumer locations. Acting as the bridge between Operations, Systems and Finance, you will guarantee that inventory movements are accurately recorded, controlled and reflected in both operational and financial systems.

Key responsibilities

• Govern material inventory adjustments, enforce controls, resolve root causes and apply correct accounting treatment.
• Investigate and resolve significant inventory discrepancies, driving sustainable improvements and preventing recurrence.
• Maintain accurate inventory balances across operational and financial systems, including WMS‑SAP alignment.
• Manage interface and IDoc issues in partnership with Inventory Management and IT teams.
• Oversee accounting, reconciliation and reporting of inventory movements, returns and in‑transit stock.
• Partner with Finance to ensure accurate inventory valuations, reserves and compliance with SOX and audit requirements.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in inventory accounting.
