Development Lead

About the role

We are looking for a Development Lead to own end‑to‑end product development for Goelett’s online booking platform. You will work closely with a Product Manager in a two‑in‑a‑box model, guiding a squad through agile delivery, mentorship, and architectural decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deliver features that solve customer problems, working backwards from user needs.
• Lead the Value Stream, align with group engineering standards, set sprint goals, and improve team metrics.
• Mentor developers, collaborate with QA teams across locations, and ensure continuous delivery within 12‑hour cycles.
• Own delivery metrics such as cycle time, release quality, and customer adoption.
• Address bugs, technical debt, security, scalability, and performance issues.
• Provide architectural guidance, create technical specifications, and define testing strategies.
• Conduct technology analysis, proof‑of‑concepts, and system evaluations to reduce risk.
• Deploy solutions on existing environments while planning for future growth.
• Foster best practices, share knowledge, and develop team capabilities.

Required profile

• 3+ years of team management or system design experience in an agile product environment.
• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong understanding of software design, architecture, testing, integration, and system administration.
• Experience with continuous integration/delivery and information security/privacy.
