Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

As a Senior DevOps Engineer at LSEG, you will shape the technical direction of platform delivery and cloud infrastructure. You will solve complex engineering challenges, guide design decisions, and raise the engineering bar through automation and reusable patterns.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build a new multi‑tenant architecture in Microsoft Azure, contributing to long‑term platform evolution.
• Develop, optimise, and maintain CI/CD pipelines across diverse technology stacks for fast, reliable, and secure deployments.
• Deliver cloud and infrastructure capabilities with a focus on excellence, sustainability, predictability, and operational readiness.
• Work with market‑data solutions in hybrid cloud/on‑prem environments, ensuring reliability, low latency, and secure data flows.
• Troubleshoot platform‑level issues, improve system stability, and ensure observability and rapid response to operational events.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and platform operations using cloud‑native and IaC practices.

Required profile

• Hands‑on delivery experience across infrastructure, networking, platform engineering, and automation.
• Ability to guide team‑level design decisions using deep domain expertise.
• Customer‑focused mindset, taking ownership of issues impacting customers and responding quickly.
• Risk‑management skills to drive safe, secure delivery and build resilience into systems.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure, including multi‑tenant architecture.
• Terraform and other IaC workflows.
• Git, Maven, and modern CI/CD tooling.
• Kubernetes, Docker, and container‑based deployments.
• Operating systems: Ubuntu, CentOS, Amazon Linux, RHEL, Windows.
• Experience with market‑data platforms or financial ecosystem solutions (advantageous).
