Test Automation Engineer (iOS)

About the role

Solvd Inc. is an AI‑native consulting and technology services firm delivering enterprise transformation across cloud, data, software engineering, and artificial intelligence. We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer with solid iOS automation experience (Swift + XCUITest) to join the team working on a social news aggregation platform. You will own test automation, maintain stability across releases, and help ensure a high‑quality user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Create and maintain automated test cases, execute test suites, and diagnose reported bugs before production releases.
• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test suites through continuous integration for rapid feedback.
• Maintain test infrastructure stability in non‑production environments.
• Participate in troubleshooting and triaging issues with cross‑functional teams to identify root causes.
• Collaborate closely with developers to produce test plans, test cases, procedures, and reports.
• Work across functional areas in a disciplined agile environment and estimate testing tasks independently.
• Influence engineering practices on unit, integration, and end‑to‑end testing.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience building automation frameworks for mobile or web applications, preferably in social media.
• Strong knowledge of testing methodology, SDLC, test documentation, and QA best practices.
• Ability to independently create test plans based on requirements and perform exploratory testing.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Comfortable working in fast‑paced, weekly release environments.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
