Team Manager – Cloud Managed Services

About the role

Join Veeva as a Team Manager for Cloud Managed Services, leading a high‑performing team that supports Life Sciences customers using Veeva Vault. You will oversee consultants delivering managed services, ensure system reliability, and drive service expansion across EMEA.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow a team of consultants delivering Managed Services on the Veeva Vault platform for global pharmaceutical and biotech accounts.
• Plan resources, monitor utilization, and support professional development to achieve employee success.
• Lead hiring for consultants in Poland and Hungary, building a pipeline of top technical talent.
• Coordinate communication between implementation and Managed Services teams to ensure smooth transitions.
• Act as escalation point and leadership contact for selected customers, handling complex situations.
• Work with new and existing customers to expand contract offerings and increase long‑term service value.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role.
• 5+ years of experience in IT, project management, consultancy, technical product management or a related field.
• Proven ability to attract and select strong technical talent.
• Skilled at managing escalations and driving customer‑success outcomes.
• Adaptable contributor who thrives in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Analytical problem‑solver with strong critical‑thinking and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Legal authorization to work in Poland or Hungary.
• Willingness to work from the Budapest office once per month and travel as needed.
