Software Engineer II – Quality Assurance

About the role

The Customer Delivery Test team is seeking a Software Engineer II focused on Quality Assurance. You will drive the customer experience strategy by designing, implementing and maintaining automated and manual testing solutions for Mastercard’s payment platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Adhere to and implement enterprise quality standards, processes and tools.
• Develop and maintain build control strategies and QA automation frameworks.
• Utilize Selenium with Java or Python to create automated test suites.
• Collaborate with business and development teams to define test plans, schedules and acceptance criteria.
• Translate complex system requirements into detailed test cases and testing methods.
• Identify opportunities for advanced automation and drive their implementation.

Required profile

• Relevant IT experience with full‑time involvement in software projects.
• Ability to mentor peers and guide less experienced team members.
• Experience with Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
• Proficiency in analyzing application logs and applying basic debugging techniques.
• Experience working across functional teams, preferably within the payment domain.
