Python Developer

About the role

DATAGROUP Polska is seeking a mid‑level Python Developer to support technology refresh and migration initiatives. The role offers remote flexibility and the chance to work on modernising legacy systems and moving them to cloud and open‑source platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement robust, scalable Java‑based frontend and Python components for ETL processes.
• Contribute to the migration from Oracle to PostgreSQL.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams on application modernisation and cloud migration efforts.
• Ensure code quality, performance and maintainability throughout the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Several years of practical Python development experience.
• Solid skills in PostgreSQL and SQL.
• ETL experience (desirable).
• Strong analytical and solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent command of English, both spoken and written.
