Full Stack Engineer (Java, Spring Boot, Angular) – Hybrid Warsaw/Cracow

About the role

We are looking for a Full Stack Engineer to own features end‑to‑end across Java, Spring Boot, Angular and Oracle. The role is hybrid, based in Warsaw or Cracow, and focuses on building business‑critical products for multiple internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship full‑stack features, writing backend services in Java/Spring Boot and frontend components in Angular when needed.
• Take features from requirements through design, implementation, testing and release without handing off work.
• Write and maintain SQL queries, schema changes and database logic for an Oracle database.
• Build REST APIs and integrate with JMS messaging systems.
• Maintain and extend CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and Jenkins, fixing broken builds and deployment issues.
• Use SonarQube to identify and resolve code‑quality, security and maintainability issues.
• Write automated tests and review peers’ code as part of delivery.
• Provide realistic effort estimates, flag delivery risks early and communicate progress to product owners, QA, analysts and operations.
• Mentor other engineers and share technical knowledge within the team.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of commercial full‑stack development experience (not backend‑only).
• Production experience with Java 17/21 and Spring Boot, able to describe a specific service you built.
• Hands‑on experience with Hibernate, Oracle SQL, JMS and REST API design, with concrete query‑optimization or schema‑migration examples.
• Production experience with Angular (v20 or recent) and Jest, having built and tested UI components.
• Experience building or maintaining CI/CD pipelines in GitLab and Jenkins, able to describe a pipeline you configured or fixed.
• Use of SonarQube (or equivalent) and ability to resolve specific findings.
• Proven ability to give realistic effort estimates, recognise when they were wrong and adjust with stakeholders.
• Fluent written and spoken English, comfortable working directly with product, QA, UX and business analysts.
