Tariff & Customs Classification Specialist

About the role

As a Tariff & Customs Classification Specialist at Bosch Group, you will ensure compliance with international trade regulations by accurately classifying products for export and import. You will work within a dynamic, multinational team, supporting the company’s global trade operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform tariff and customs classification of Bosch’s product portfolio according to various national tariff schemes.
• Handle export control classification when required.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional and international stakeholders to gather technical information and documentation for accurate classification.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of evolving foreign‑trade regulations across multiple jurisdictions.
• Communicate classification decisions clearly in English to global teams.

Required profile

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business, engineering or a related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in trade compliance, product engineering or a similar area.
• Strong understanding of tariff and customs classification processes.
• Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Advanced English proficiency; German is a plus.
