About the role
A Senior Test Automation Engineer is sought to design, develop and maintain robust, scalable automated testing frameworks that ensure the quality, reliability and performance of software applications. The role works closely with developers, product owners and DevOps teams to identify risks early, speed up release cycles and embed quality across the SDLC.
Required profile
- Proven expertise in building and maintaining automation frameworks with Playwright, Selenium or Cypress.
- Strong programming skills in Java, Python, TypeScript or JavaScript, writing clean, reusable, maintainable test code.
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs using REST Assured, Postman or Playwright API testing.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of test strategy: test design, risk-based testing, regression testing and the testing pyramid.
- Ability to validate data integrity and backend processes with SQL and database queries.
- Proven debugging and root cause analysis, including reducing flaky tests and improving automation reliability.
- Experience in Agile/Scrum teams, collaborating with developers and product teams.
