Senior Supplier Manufacturing Engineer – EMEA

About the role

As an EMEA Senior Supplier Manufacturing Engineer you will ensure business continuity by providing technical support to third‑party manufacturers, sustaining product and process quality, and driving cost‑performance improvements in line with 3M requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Lead supplier engagement for new product introduction, scale‑up, launch activities and change‑management processes at 3M and supplier sites.
• Support supplier onboarding, assessments and capital projects aimed at capability, capacity, quality and cost improvement.
• Manage day‑to‑day supplier operations to resolve urgent quality, delivery, cost and service issues.
• Conduct supplier EHS and process audits, ensure compliance and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate packaging standards, product specifications, SAP BOM data, SKU creation, fixed assets and material waste disposal.
• Lead continuous‑improvement, cost‑reduction and manufacturing footprint optimisation initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in third‑party manufacturing, supplier operations or manufacturing engineering.
• Strong understanding of supplier daily operations, performance management and manufacturing processes.
• Proven project‑management, communication and stakeholder‑coordination skills across global and local teams.
