Senior Java Developer

About the role

Join a global bank’s strategic reference data platform team to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance services that support data gathering and processing across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver assigned development projects within agreed schedule, quality and scope.
• Participate in all stages of the SDLC in an agile Scrum environment.
• Enhance or re‑architect existing components for performance and scalability.
• Provide level‑3 escalation support for the application.

Required profile

• At least 6+ years of Java development experience and 7+ years total IT experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.

• Java (Core, JDBC, Multithreading, Collections, I/O)
• Spring Boot
• SQL / PL‑SQL on Oracle DB
• Kubernetes container platform
• REST web services, Kafka, Redis
• Unix commands and shell scripting
• Version control: Git (GHE & Bitbucket)
• CI/CD tools: JIRA, Harness/uDeploy, SonarQube, TeamCity, Artifactory
