Software Engineer – Platform & DevOps

About the role

Join Moderna’s international business services hub in Warsaw to build developer tooling and platform capabilities that accelerate mRNA medicine development. You will work with global teams to improve developer efficiency and impact patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain developer tooling such as AI agents, generators, libraries, templates, CLIs, and services.
• Design, implement and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, secure, and reliable software delivery.
• Develop and manage AWS cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code.
• Enable AI‑assisted development by integrating advanced tooling and embedding AI into developer workflows.
• Partner with application engineers to identify friction points and deliver scalable platform solutions.

Required profile

• BS/BA in Computer Science with 5+ years of software or platform engineering experience.
• Strong programming skills in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python.
• Hands‑on experience building and operating solutions in AWS.
• Experience creating and maintaining production CI/CD pipelines.
• Proficiency in English for global collaboration.
