Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure)

About the role

Capco Poland, a global technology and management consulting firm, is looking for a Poland-based Senior DevOps Engineer to deliver specialist DevOps services. The role focuses on designing, implementing and improving cloud infrastructure and CI/CD solutions on Microsoft Azure, with strong hands-on experience in Azure, Infrastructure as Code, automation, containerization and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Build, maintain and optimise CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning with Terraform, ARM templates or Bicep.
• Manage containerised applications with Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
• Set up monitoring, logging and alerting, and ensure security, compliance and governance.
• Work with development, QA and operations teams to streamline deployments, troubleshoot production issues and run root cause analysis.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery and high availability, and optimise performance, scalability and cost.

Required profile

• 7+ years of overall IT experience with strong DevOps expertise.
• Poland-based candidate; the arrangement is a B2B contract with a hybrid model, working from the Krakow office to the extent agreed per project.

• Git and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Azure Monitor and Application Insights
• DevSecOps and cloud security principles
