R2R Analyst - General Ledger (Turkish Speaker)

About the role

Brenntag is looking for a detail-oriented R2R Analyst for General Ledger and Reporting in Łódź, with fluent spoken and written Turkish. You will carry out end-to-end transactional activities in general ledger accounting, reconciliation and closing, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, company policies and service level agreements. The role supports the transition and stabilization of Record-to-Report processes into the newly established SSC, and hands-on experience in transition or migration projects is a valuable asset.

Location: Łódź city centre, hybrid model with 3 days in the office.

Key responsibilities

• Perform end-to-end R2R activities, including journal entries, accruals and reconciliations
• Carry out monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities
• Review Balance Sheet and P&L accounts, including inventory accounting
• Perform balance sheet account reconciliations and investigate variances
• Reconcile intercompany transactions and confirm balances with counterparties
• Prepare analytical reports and support financial reporting
• Maintain R2R master data for assigned entities and fixed assets records in SAP
• Perform bank statement reconciliations and support audits with documentation
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, IFRS and company policies, and cooperate with local finance and SSC departments
• Take part in R2R projects, document processes and support junior analysts

Required profile

• Degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent qualification
• Proven experience in Record to Report / General Ledger accounting
• Fluent English and Turkish (at least level B)
• Experience in a Shared Service Center, outsourcing or industry environment is a strong advantage
• Transition experience is an asset
• Detail-oriented, proactive, well organized, with integrity and a collaborative, business-partner mindset

Required skills

• Solid knowledge of accounting processes and strong understanding of IFRS
• Advanced knowledge of SAP and MS Office
• Familiarity with Blackline and Service Now is an asset
