Project Manager – Advisors & Consulting Services

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Project Manager to lead its Advisors & Consulting Services practice. The role focuses on delivering high‑value consulting projects that help clients across banking, retail, and other industries improve digital payment experiences, manage risk, and drive transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, timelines, budgets and conduct cost‑benefit and risk analyses.
• Coordinate cross‑functional teams and clarify stakeholder roles to ensure delivery of expected benefits.
• Identify and mitigate risks proactively, reporting issues, progress and timelines to senior stakeholders.
• Apply accredited project and change‑management methodologies to drive measurable client value.
• Manage deliverable development and workstreams on large, complex, high‑value projects.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing complex consulting or program‑management engagements.
• Strong analytical abilities with a focus on risk identification and solutioning.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work across diverse industries, cultures and problem statements.

Required skills

• Project and change‑management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
• Risk assessment and mitigation techniques.
