Product Engineer - Sealing Technology

About the role

The Product Application Engineer (PAE) at Angst+Pfister Austria in Bielsko-Biała is an expert in a specific product category, sealing technology. The role combines consulting and upselling to customers with product and solution training, and involves travelling more than 30% of the time.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse technical processes with the client's engineering department and develop customer-specific solutions
• Build and deepen client relationships, cooperating with Sales teams, Group Engineering and Group Procurement
• Train clients and colleagues on products and solutions, and advise on technical issues
• Manage implemented projects and handle administrative tasks

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 2 years of professional experience in the sealing technology industry
• Experience working with clients
• Ability to solve technical problems and analytical thinking
• English at B2 level (spoken and written)
• Willingness to travel more than 30% of working time and a category B driving licence
• Preferred: sales and commercial skills, project management experience, presentation skills, existing network in the Polish engineering and OEM community, and B2B OEM sales experience
