People Operations Manager

About the role

The People Operations Manager is responsible for delivering a consistent, high‑quality employee experience at scale, supporting the entire employee lifecycle and ensuring compliance with employment laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, including contracts, documentation, HRIS records and benefits administration.
• Support payroll, performance and compensation processes, ensuring accurate data and timely reporting.
• Provide guidance on People policies, employee relations and formal/informal ER processes.
• Maintain compliance and data accuracy, supporting audits and regulatory requirements.
• Drive continuous improvement, identify AI and automation opportunities, and contribute to People projects.
• Prepare People metrics and reports, stay informed on legislation and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or formal training in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a People, HR or People Operations role.
• Proficiency with HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite; Workday experience desirable.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and influencing abilities.
• Good knowledge of employment laws and ability to handle confidential information.
• Professional HR certification (e.g., SHRM‑CP, PHR) is a plus.
