Payroll Specialist - Austrian Payroll

About the role

You will independently manage the full Austrian payroll process for our clients, handling everything from data entry to final payment while ensuring compliance with collective agreements and local regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end payroll processing for Austrian clients, including calculations, deductions, and payments.
• Act as the first point of contact for labour law, social security, and tax‑related queries, liaising with authorities and insurers.
• Prepare payroll reports, statistics and administrative documentation.
• Participate in client projects, supporting smooth payroll transitions and implementation.
• Share knowledge with junior colleagues and assist in their onboarding and training.

Required profile

• Passion for payroll and strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
• Previous experience in Austrian payroll administration with a structured work approach.
• Completed payroll qualification or certification and solid MS Office skills.
• Service‑oriented mindset, proactive attitude, flexibility and team spirit.
• Excellent German language skills and good English language skills.
