Origination Manager – Land Acquisition for Renewable Projects (Poland)

About the role

We are seeking an Origination Manager to lead land acquisition for solar, wind and battery storage projects in Poland. You will work closely with landowners, authorities and internal teams to secure sites that meet technical, environmental and legal criteria.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies to identify and secure land for solar, wind and BESS projects.
• Conduct site visits and assess suitability based on technical, environmental and legal factors.
• Build and maintain relationships with landowners, negotiate agreements and secure mutually beneficial terms.
• Collaborate with local authorities to ensure compliance with land‑use regulations, zoning laws and permitting requirements.
• Coordinate with legal, technical and project development teams to streamline acquisition and execution.
• Identify and mitigate risks such as legal disputes or environmental constraints.
• Monitor regional trends and policy changes to refine acquisition strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and provide regular updates to management.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience in land acquisition, real estate or project development, preferably in the renewable energy sector.
• Proven track record of successful land transactions and stakeholder management.
• Strong knowledge of Polish land‑use regulations, permitting processes and zoning laws.
• Familiarity with solar and wind project development is highly desirable.
• Fluency in Polish and proficiency in English.
