Market Risk & Treasury Team Member with German

About the role

PwC Poland’s FS Consulting team is expanding a new specialist group that works closely with PwC Germany’s Risk and Regulatory Practice. The role focuses on market risk and treasury projects for German financial institutions, offering opportunities to collaborate across borders and travel to Frankfurt.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver market‑risk projects covering market and liquidity risk models, derivative pricing, trading‑book, banking‑book and ALM.
• Develop and maintain risk‑modeling tools using various technologies.
• Prepare analytical reports, presentations and financial models.
• Execute assignments both independently and as part of a team.
• Coordinate daily with PwC network colleagues, especially those in Germany.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1) and ability to communicate in German.
• Practical knowledge of derivatives pricing methods or market/liquidity risk concepts, or experience with accounting models, trading, collateral management, clearing and settlement regulations.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint and Excel.
• Interest in German FS‑Risk practice and willingness to travel occasionally to Germany.
• Proactive, problem‑solving attitude and structured, self‑organized work style.
