Junior System Administrator

About the role

The Junior System Administrator supports daily operation and maintenance of IT infrastructure under IT OPS supervision. The role focuses on standard administrative tasks, handling low‑ to medium‑complexity incidents and changes, and building independence while ensuring stability, security, and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform standard administrative tasks on Linux and Windows systems.
• Maintain Linux services in test and production environments.
• Handle low‑ to medium‑complexity incidents and changes within defined timelines.
• Monitor environments, perform initial alert analysis and escalate when needed.
• Support virtualization, container services, web services and basic network components.

Required profile

• High School Technical Diploma or higher in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in IT infrastructure, system administration or help‑desk support.
• English proficiency at B2 level or above.

Required skills

• Linux (Debian‑based) system administration.
• Bash scripting fundamentals.
• Windows Server administration basics.
• SSH and command‑line console usage.
• Understanding of system logs, server services and processes.
• Monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana).
• Firewall administration (iptables, Fortinet/FortiGate).
• Exposure to virtualization and container platforms.
• Basic knowledge of Ansible automation.
