HR Master Data Management Specialist (Dutch)

About the role

Alcon is seeking an HRHC Master Data Management Specialist fluent in Dutch to support associates and managers across multiple countries. The role involves guiding employees through HR lifecycle events, clarifying policies, and providing high‑quality service in line with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Process HR lifecycle changes such as employment verifications, new hires, onboarding, and employee data updates.
• Maintain personnel files and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support regional and global HR projects and initiatives.
• Assist in preparing and implementing people policies, handbooks, and guidelines.
• Deliver timely, accurate responses to associate inquiries via ticketing, chat, email, and document management tools.

Required profile

• Good understanding of HR operations and basic knowledge of multiple labor legislation systems, especially the Benelux market.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• Ability to work independently in a fast‑changing environment with short deadlines.
• Strong problem‑solving, critical‑thinking, and continuous‑improvement mindset.

Required skills

• Workday (HR Information System) – minimum 1 year experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite – intermediate level.
• Experience with Service Center technologies (ticket management, knowledge base, chat, email, document management).
