Fraud Analyst

About the role

Tripledot Studios is looking for a Fraud Analyst to join the PuzzlePlay team. The role focuses on building and maintaining fraud‑related user segmentation, helping the product team make informed revenue‑share decisions across markets.

Key responsibilities

• Review and continuously refine fraud signals such as IP spoofing, VPN usage, and abnormal play patterns to separate suspicious activity from legitimate users.
• Own the fraud‑related segments of the user segmentation system, defining signal interpretation and monitoring segment performance over time.
• Collaborate with the product team to design and implement verification tools for different markets, including facial verification (FaceTec) and potential ID or phone verification solutions.
• Investigate users flagged for manual review, resolve ambiguous cases, and propose improvements to the review workflow.
• Identify gaps in existing signals and recommend third‑party tools or data sources to enhance the fraud detection roadmap.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience using data to investigate fraud and shape detection or prevention strategies, not merely supporting a fraud team.
• Proven ability to design or improve fraud signals, user segments, and review processes, with an interest in evolving tactics.
• Strong collaboration skills to translate analytical findings into operational fraud controls alongside product and engineering teams.
