Financial Accountant (m/f) – Warsaw

About the role

Aurelis Consulting, a boutique automotive aftersales consultancy part of the Infopro Digital Automotive group, is looking for a Financial Accountant based in Warsaw. You will work in a dynamic international environment, supporting the financial backbone of projects delivered to major global motor vehicle manufacturers, with direct collaboration with senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Accounting and bookkeeping: manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and fixed assets, keeping records accurate under Polish GAAP and group policy, including bank reconciliations and cash accounting (PLN, EUR, USD)
• VAT, tax and compliance: prepare VAT declarations (JPK_V7), support CIT and payroll tax reporting, ensure internal controls and DOA compliance, and support audits and liaison with tax authorities and external advisors
• Reporting: prepare management reports such as P&L analyses and cash flow reports, support business decisions, and process payroll data with HR so that ZUS and PIT reporting is accurate
• Treasury and banking: manage payment runs, monitor cash positions across currencies, maintain banking relationships and support cash management
• Closing and statutory reporting: lead monthly, quarterly and annual closings, prepare statutory reports for local authorities (GUS, NBP) and support annual financial statements and disclosures

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field
• 3-5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance roles
• Strong understanding of Polish accounting standards and tax regulations (CIT, VAT)
• Strong Polish language skills and very good English (C1 level required), especially in finance and accounting
• Optional: experience in an international environment, audit processes, group reporting requirements, financial controlling tools or knowledge of financial controlling

Required skills

• General ledger accounting and financial reporting
• Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
• Experience with accounting systems such as Symfonia or similar
• Analytical thinking, attention to detail, and strong organisational and time management skills
