Events Venue Sourcing Coordinator – German

About the role

Amex GBT is seeking an Events Venue Sourcing Coordinator who will act as the primary liaison for venue sourcing requests, collaborating with internal teams and clients across borders. This fully remote position supports customers in Poland or Spain.

Key responsibilities

• Review meeting requests, qualify with clients, and develop negotiation strategies to secure optimal venue rates.
• Utilize knowledge of domestic and international destinations to recommend suitable sites and maintain up‑to‑date destination options.
• Gather availability data, qualify proposals, and track supplier options and program status.
• Negotiate contracts, ensure legal protection, and manage final negotiations for best pricing and concessions.
• Create meeting records, maintain accurate program forecasts, and update business management systems.

Required profile

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar venue sourcing or meetings management role.
• Strong project‑management and client‑management abilities with a passion for budgeting.
