About the role
The International Rescue Committee (IRC) is seeking an Economic Empowerment Project Lead to oversee the full project lifecycle of its Economic Empowerment programme in Poland. The role will ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet donor requirements while supporting refugees and economic migrants to achieve financial independence.
Key responsibilities
- Identify, assess and select implementing partners, negotiate and manage sub‑grant agreements, and monitor partner performance.
- Oversee day‑to‑day project delivery, coordinating technical, operational and support teams to meet work plans and timelines.
- Lead Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) activities, ensuring data quality and reporting to donors.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures and ensure financial compliance.
- Identify implementation risks, propose mitigation measures and resolve partner issues promptly.
Required profile
- Proven experience in project management within humanitarian or development contexts.
- Strong partnership and stakeholder management abilities.
- Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
