About the role

The Economic Empowerment Head of Program will provide strategic leadership and technical guidance for IRC Poland’s Economic Development portfolio. This senior position focuses on expanding and improving economic inclusion programs that support refugees and host communities, driving growth, quality, and impact.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design, expansion, and implementation of economic empowerment initiatives in Poland.
• Ensure program activities align with the evolving needs of refugees and host communities.
• Oversee the EE team’s performance, professional development, and capacity building.
• Monitor program quality, impact metrics, and growth targets.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners to secure resources and enhance program effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading large‑scale economic development or livelihood programs.
• Strong strategic leadership and technical guidance capabilities.
• Ability to manage and develop multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience working in humanitarian or refugee contexts is preferred.
