Digital Transformation Deployment Specialist - PLM Windchill

About the role

HITACHI ENERGY POLAND is looking for a Digital Transformation Deployment Specialist in Lodz, Poland. You will lead a high-impact portfolio, develop and implement IT capabilities, plan and build IT solutions from business functions, and act as the single focal point between IT Technology and the business for transformation projects. You will work in a multinational team, engaging functional leaders and business units.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the PLM strategy in line with digital transformation objectives, driving business value in engineering and manufacturing
• Integrate PLM with ERP, MES and downstream systems for seamless data flow and process integration
• Promote the Digital Thread and configuration management, expanding traceability and collaboration along the value chain
• Optimize cross-functional processes with Lean and Six Sigma, focusing on BOMs, process plans, roadmaps and supply chain integration
• Capture complex requirements from business and IT stakeholders and facilitate global collaboration
• Drive PLM governance and change management, supporting adoption of new tools and continuous improvement
• Act as a reference expert in PLM, guiding teams and supporting training on platforms such as Windchill or Teamcenter
• Ensure compliance with internal and external standards, procedures and guidelines

Required profile

• Relevant IT and digital transformation experience, with a strong background in Computer Science or Engineering and deep knowledge of PLM systems and strategy
• Experience leading global PLM transformation programs in engineering and manufacturing, with hands-on experience in Windchill, Teamcenter or similar platforms
• Knowledge of processes linking PLM to manufacturing, including mBOMs, process plans, routings and integration with ERP and MES
• Ability to manage third-party vendors and virtual delivery teams globally
• Fluent English and experience in multicultural, multinational environments
• Willingness to travel up to 30% for deployments at global engineering plants and sites
