Customer Support Engineer

About the role

Coder is seeking a Customer Support Engineer to join a fast‑growing, collaborative team. You will work closely with Product and Customer Success to troubleshoot complex issues, automate processes, and deliver exceptional support experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Reproduce and debug customer issues using test environments and tools.
• Communicate tactfully with customers, gather information, and provide diagnostic and resolution steps.
• Solve technical support requests promptly, including high‑severity urgent cases.
• Identify and communicate product usage trends, bugs, and feature requests.
• Guide and mentor new team members on processes and procedures.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Managers to lead customer debugging calls.
• Document all customer activity in accordance with security standards.
• Contribute to product documentation, knowledge‑base articles, and best‑practice guides.
• Participate in an on‑call rotation for production‑down issues.

Required profile

• 3+ years of customer support engineering or comparable technical support experience, preferably with mission‑critical software.
• Experience supporting enterprise‑sized companies and diagnosing production network connectivity issues.
• Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced startup environment.
