Customer Service Officer – Care Chemicals

About the role

Join BASF’s Care Chemicals division as a Customer Service Officer, supporting dedicated customers throughout the Order‑to‑Cash cycle. You will act as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, ensuring smooth order fulfillment and high satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and act as the first point of contact for assigned accounts.
• Monitor order status, intervene when delivery risks arise, and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Manage customer complaints, coordinate resolutions, and communicate outcomes professionally.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, logistics, and transport departments both locally and internationally.
• Maintain accurate documentation in SAP and ensure compliance with company and legal standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales administration or business customer service.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in an international environment.
• Customer‑oriented mindset with teamwork abilities.
• Fluent in English and/or German; additional language proficiency is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP, especially the SD module.
• Experience with Salesforce (advantageous).
