AI Tech and Data Privacy Associate Manager

About the role

Join Aleph’s global legal team to lead data protection and AI governance across a worldwide footprint. You will advise on AI risk classification, ensure compliance with GDPR and emerging AI regulations, and support contract negotiations for AI‑related technology.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on practical implementation of legal requirements for AI systems under the EU AI Act and other regulations.
• Monitor emerging AI regulations and their intersection with data protection across all markets.
• Support internal audits, prepare reports, presentations and educational materials on data protection, privacy and AI compliance.
• Negotiate and draft AI/technology procurement agreements, including IP protection and indemnification clauses.
• Conduct Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs) and maintain global data‑protection records.

Required profile

• Law degree with 4–6 years of hands‑on GDPR and data‑privacy experience.
• Proven experience implementing AI systems under the EU AI Act, including high‑risk categories.
• Strong knowledge of data‑privacy requirements in non‑EU markets (LATAM, APAC, MEA).
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Tech‑oriented mindset with a genuine curiosity about AI and emerging technologies.
