Technical Business Analyst – SWIFT Payment Transactions

About the role

Join our team as a Business Expert/Technical Business Analyst focusing on cross‑border payment processing. You will help digitalise and optimise payment workflows, ensuring seamless communication between internal applications and SWIFT services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze issues and requirements between internal back‑office systems and the SWIFT infrastructure.
• Design message flows, interface specifications and integration concepts for SWIFT connectivity.
• Define functional test scenarios and support quality‑assurance activities.
• Collaborate with business units, IT teams and external vendors to improve stability and reliability of SWIFT‑based processing.
• Act as the functional and business analysis expert within the Scrum team for payment investigations.

Required profile

• Understanding of payment process chains and SWIFT message formats (MT, MX).
• Knowledge of SWIFT services such as FIN, FileAct and InterAct.
• Experience with message flows, routing and the payment lifecycle.
• Ability to analyse system landscapes and interfaces between internal systems and SWIFT.
• Proficiency in German and English.
