Study Nurse (Clinical Research)

About the role

Care Access is hiring a Study Nurse (Pielęgniarka / Pielęgniarz Badań Klinicznych) for an onsite position in Warsaw. The nurse carries out delegated clinical tasks and monitors research participants in line with Good Clinical Practice (GCP), keeping protocol and regulatory compliance. The role involves participant care, clinical procedures, investigational product handling and close collaboration with the Principal Investigator.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor participants according to protocol, including vital signs, cardiac rhythm strips and pulse oximetry, and watch for adverse reactions
• Carry out delegated clinical procedures and treat patients with standing orders for anaphylactic reactions
• Perform phlebotomy, insert IV catheters and carry out ECGs independently or with limited supervision
• Process and ship lab samples and maintain a clean work area
• Prepare and administer the investigational product, store it securely at the right temperature, keep records and maintain the blind where required
• Comply with safety, PPE and regulatory requirements, and keep nursing licensure in good standing
• Take part in meetings with the manager and study team and communicate regularly with the PI

Required profile

• Active nursing qualification and registration in Poland
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Phlebotomy and infusion experience required; clinical research experience preferred
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
• Strong organisational, communication and computer skills
