Senior Project Manager - Clinical Projects

About the role

TFS HealthScience is a global mid-size Contract Research Organization (CRO) partnering with biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies through their entire clinical development journey. It is looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead cross-functional clinical projects and deliver them on time, within budget and to quality standards. Working as part of the CDS team, you will be dedicated to one sponsor, a global pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end project delivery, ensuring timelines, scope and budget are met
• Manage cross-functional teams such as Clinical, Data Management and Regulatory
• Identify, assess and mitigate project risks
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines
• Act as main point of contact for clients and stakeholders
• Monitor project performance, including financials and profitability
• Ensure compliance with internal SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Allocate and manage project resources with line managers, report progress and escalate issues
• Support business development, including proposals and bid defenses
• Mentor junior Project Managers when required

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or similar
• At least 5 years' experience in project management, ideally in clinical research or a CRO environment
• Experience managing cross-functional teams
• Experience in financial and budget management

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of clinical trial regulations (e.g. ICH-GCP)
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
