Senior Technical Product Manager – Keet (Remote)

About the role

Join Tether to lead Keet, a peer‑to‑peer messaging and video calling app built on Holepunch's P2P stack. As Senior Technical Product Manager you will own the product vision, define strategy, and drive execution to reach a billion users, competing with WhatsApp and Telegram.

Key responsibilities

• Define and communicate a long‑term product vision for Keet, creating a roadmap that targets one billion users and leverages P2P advantages over competitors.
• Partner with core engineering to solve hard P2P problems at scale, including NAT traversal, offline sync, multi‑device support, large groups, push notifications, and mobile battery/data efficiency.
• Use AI coding and design tools to rapidly prototype concepts, delivering working demos within days to validate ideas before allocating engineering resources.
• Lead the product team through full sprint cycles—planning, prioritization, stand‑ups, reviews, and retrospectives—ensuring reliable delivery from conception to post‑launch iteration.
• Own the mobile release process for iOS and Android, manage App Store and Google Play submissions, and oversee desktop distribution across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

Required profile

• 8+ years of product management experience, including senior roles delivering consumer products to tens of millions of users.
• Proven ability to set product vision, define growth strategies, and achieve measurable outcomes at scale.
• Deep JavaScript and React expertise, with hands‑on coding ability to review pull requests and build prototypes.
• Strong intuition for distributed, local‑first systems and experience shipping mobile apps on iOS and Android.
• Experience with real‑time voice and video calling products and the associated quality, latency, and reliability trade‑offs.
• Demonstrated skill in using AI tools to quickly prototype and demonstrate product concepts.
