Senior QA Engineer - VCS Automation

About the role

MKS Industrial Digital Solutions is looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer in Poznan to ensure the quality and reliability of its VCS fastCenter SCADA solutions. You will join a cross-functional EU team including system architects, PLC automation engineers and the Commissioning team, and report to the Lead of the VCS Platform Development Team.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and execute full-spectrum test strategies covering manual and automated testing.
• Build and maintain test automation frameworks using Python and JavaScript-based tools.
• Manually and automatically test RESTful APIs with tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify, document, track and verify defects and work with developers to resolve them.
• Contribute to performance testing and help set up and maintain test environments.
• Mentor junior QA engineers and share knowledge.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a Senior QA Engineer with significant manual and automated testing using Python and JavaScript.
• Ability to read and write technical documentation and communicate in English.
• Nice to have: experience with other testing languages, performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner), security testing, Agile (Scrum, Kanban), and familiarity with industrial automation or PCB manufacturing.
• Polish language skills are a plus.
