Senior DevOps Engineer - MSP

About the role

SD Solutions, a global staffing company, is recruiting on behalf of a CloudTech client for a Senior DevOps Engineer working as an MSP. The engineer designs, builds, deploys and maintains complex cloud environments for customers, using automation tools and modern technologies. The role is based in Warsaw, Poland, and can be performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement tailor-made cloud architectures based on customer needs.
• Manage multiple customer environments while following industry best practices.
• Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, keeping them aligned with business goals.
• Deploy advanced cloud services and automation solutions.
• Maintain infrastructure automation and configuration management tools.
• Keep a continuous feedback loop with customers so deliveries meet expectations.
• Debug, troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Design, set up and maintain large-scale monitoring and logging solutions.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands-on experience with cloud providers such as AWS and GCP.
• 3+ years of professional IT experience, with a strong Linux and networking background.
• Proven experience in a customer-facing role.
• Experience with security products such as firewalls, web gateways and proxies.
• Strong foundation in Git and GitFlow; knowledge of serverless architectures.
• Fast learner, creative problem solver, and able to adapt to new technologies.

Required skills

• Container technologies: Kubernetes, EKS, ECS, Swarm, Docker.
• Scripting in at least two languages, e.g. Python, Java, Bash or PowerShell.
• CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, CircleCI or CodePipeline.
• Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, CDK or ServerlessFramework.
• Advantages: Datadog, Prometheus, ELK/OpenSearch, ArgoCD, Flux, AWS certifications, CKA/CKAD, security clearance eligibility.
