Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to design, build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines for our UK and Poland stakeholders. The role requires deep hands‑on experience with on‑premises DevOps tools and a strong focus on automation, observability and security.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using industry‑standard tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins and Maven.
• Manage source code repositories (Git) and define branching strategies (GitFlow, trunk‑based).
• Containerize applications with Docker and orchestrate them on Kubernetes clusters.
• Develop automation scripts in Shell, Groovy and Python for build, deployment and operational tasks.
• Integrate code quality and security scanning tools (SonarQube, SAST/DAST) as part of a DevSecOps approach.
• Implement observability solutions using Prometheus, ELK Stack and OpenTelemetry.
• Collaborate with release management teams to plan and execute releases across environments.

Required profile

• 9+ years of hands‑on DevOps experience.
• Strong background in systems administration on RedHat Linux.
• Proven expertise with infrastructure‑as‑code tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).
• Experience in container orchestration with Kubernetes.
• Solid understanding of databases such as Oracle, Cassandra, Hazelcast and PostgreSQL.
• Ability to work with messaging systems like Kafka, ActiveMQ, iMFT and FileID.
