Senior Biostatistician

About the role

ICON is a global healthcare intelligence and clinical research organisation. As a Senior Biostatistician I, you will design and analyse clinical trials, interpret complex medical data and help advance new medicines and treatments. The role leads biostatistics tasks with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as lead biostatistician for simple to complex clinical studies
• Develop statistical analysis plans and reporting specifications
• Handle the statistical aspects of CRF design and edit specifications
• Perform statistical analyses and interpret results for simple to complex clinical studies
• Review randomization specifications and dummy randomization schemes
• Participate in bid defense meetings

Required profile

• Strong foundation in biostatistics, able to work independently and guide others
• Master's degree or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field, with 5 or more years of biostatistical experience
• Knowledge of multiple statistical and therapeutic areas, the drug development process and statistical programming practices
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Legal right to work in the country where the role is based
